“That was awesome, totally blown away by how great it is!! Thanks so much”. - Emma & Olly

How did you guys meet? And how long have you been together?

Met on Tinder, after we’d both first moved to London back in 2014.

Found out that we’d both grown up near Maidstone in Kent. We had a couple of mutual friends in common, but didn’t know each other.

We have now been together for just over six and a half years.

How did you get engaged? Who proposed to who? Where did you do it? How did you feel?

During a surprise birthday trip to Iceland, luckily just a couple of months before Covid struck – Olly proposed to Emma by the Gulfoss waterfalls after a slightly snowier-than-expected weekend.

What made you choose Hayne House as your wedding venue, did you look at many?

We were both raised in Kent and always wanted a wedding somewhere in the countryside.

Hayne House looked beautiful online from the pictures…but even better in person on a stormy February morning! We looked at a few venues, but it was always our number 1.

What will be the inspiration/theme of your wedding?

Relaxed and fun – everyone needs a good celebration after the past couple of years!

What will be your first song and why?

Jessie Ware – ‘Til the end

We’ve seen her live together in Birmingham and her songs mean a lot to us.

How have you found planning your wedding? Are you a planner? Did you know what you were doing? Did you get help? What has been your biggest stress leading up to the big day?

It turns out planning a wedding during a global pandemic can be a bit of a challenge!

There has been lots of changes and uncertainty but we’re so pleased that we now get to have the day that we always wanted!

We’ve been really lucky to have amazing support from friends and family especially when we made the

decision to change the date.

Wedding planning has been an experience, but we’ll stick to our day jobs!

What would be your number one tip be for other couples planning their wedding?

It’s easy to get overwhelmed in the beginning, but just break it down into chunks and tackle them one by one.

You’ve got more time than you think you have!

The most important thing is that the two of you are happy and have the wedding that you want.

How did you guys meet? Tell me all.

At work, started off as a fling, didn’t see eye to eye for a few years went separate ways, but continued to work together. Lots of side eyeing/ignoring. Then one year we just clicked again and decided to be official. Never looked back.

How did you get engaged? Is there a cool story?

In Bali, in our own private villa in the jungle. Was late xmas eve, been out for dinner, and got some cocktails delivered to the room. Chilling by the pool and he got on one knee. I asked him if he was sure!?

What made you choose your wedding venue, did you look at many?

We only looked at a few places, but we just wanted a blank canvas so we could decorate it to our liking. Plus I wanted it close to where I was bought up, in the countryside.

What will be the inspiration/theme of your wedding?

It was to bring the outside in, wanted it to be as green and flowerily as possible.

What will be your first song and why?

Second city, I wanna feel. It was playing in Zubair’s car when he picked me up one evening and I was singing it at the top of my voice and he turned it off to catch me out. Was funny/embarrassing as didn’t know him too well them!

What would be your number one tip to other couples planning their wedding?

Don’t do it all yourself and don’t spend too much money! You get far too sucked up in one day, you have the rest of your life together to spend money.

How did you guys meet?

We first met at a holiday camp in Gt Yarmouth about 20 years ago, but lost contact, then Gary messaged me on FB and the rest is history.

How did you get engaged? Is there a cool story?

Gary proposed on a private island in Thailand, a little island off Phuket called Koh Rang Yai. He arranged this trip to this island through the hotel we were staying at, getting a speed board to this island and then setting up a picnic and champagne. I was completely shocked when he went down on one knee.

“Still can’t believe how good it came out, I am so glad we decided to have a film done” - Gary

What made you choose your wedding venue?

We looked at 3 wedding venues, 3 rd being Gosfield Hall, the moment I walked in I knew this is where we were going to get married.

@gosfieldhallweddingvenue

What will be the inspiration/theme of your wedding?

We had a gold, pink and white/ivory theme of the wedding. As Gosfield was such a

elegant venue we didn’t want to go over the top with everything as it’s a beautiful

venue and didn’t need much to decorate it.

What will be your first song and why?

Our first song was Elvis Presley, I can’t help falling in love with you.

What would be your number one tip to other couples planning their wedding?

Try not to stress on the day, it goes far to quickly to stress.

“This video is amazing and has made our day!! Thank you for pulling it together and bringing a creative eye to the day, we're so so so pleased we went for a video.” - Jo

How did you guys meet?

We met through online dating, probably when it was a bit less cool. Less swiping but much more fun.

How did you get engaged? Is there a cool story?

We went on a boat holiday to Greece with another couple. Sam was very ambitious with the proposal. Whilst bobbing around in the water, the key to the boat floated past us. I quickly grabbed it, scared it would sink. Turns out the ring was on the keys and I turned to Sam and he asked me to marry him. Apparently, he tried to do this the previously in the day and managed to come away with some pretty severe sunburn having followed me around all afternoon.

What Made you choose your wedding venue?

Surrenden is Sam’s family home and it is beautiful. Both Sam’s brothers got married abroad, so he was keen to make sure at least one of them got married there.

What was the inspiration / theme of your wedding?

The inspiration was simplicity, focusing on getting everyone fed and watered is the key!

Where did you get your beautiful dress?

Hayley Elizabeth Bridal, Orpington. - @hayleyelizabethbridal

What was your first song and why?

Cyndi Lauper - ‘Time After Time’ - It’s a tape that Jo had as a 6-year old and wore out listening to it. But we also planned on coming in to the reception tent to Bastile, as that was the first gig we went to together.

What would be your number one tip to any other couples planning their wedding?

We initially thought that looking to make the wedding super personal was tricky, but actually the choices that you make on the standard stuff makes things ‘very you’. You may not need to invest lots of money into gimmicks. Also, just relax on the day, people feed off of your energy!

Where where your suits?

Lucy and Rich Hayne House, Hythe. 3840x2160 Ultra HD H264 mp4

“A gorgeous day at Hayne House, with a truly beautiful couple who could not stop smiling. Lucy and Rich were an absolute pleasure to film.”

- Andy Hurley Film

How did Lucy and Rich meet?

They met in 2011. Lucy’s mum found Rich on Gumtree. Admitting this was not a typical way to meet but both were in search of house share room mate. Lucy’s mum spotted Richard in a sea of ads and told Lucy to get in touch. With a keen eye, she spotted Richard had a guitar and said, “He has a guitar! He looks like a nice boy, and you might even make a friend. You don’t know that many people’.

Believe it or not, but these guys didn’t end up living together, but kept in touch, and both admit. They kept in touch because they both felt like they had known each other forever.

To quote them both, They are “two peas in a Pod” and have been inseparable ever since.

…and they rest they say is history.

How did you get engaged? Is there a cool story?

It was Barcelona. Two days in and nothing had happened. Lucy had pretty much written it off that anything was going to happen. Mean while, Rich had contacted her dad.

They were on a scenic rid in the middle of the air, both terrified. Getting to the top, rocking and both shaking.

Rich got down on one knee and said '“I wanted to ask you something”.

So, one week ago, I was at an incredible venue, shooting the wedding of Lucy and Rich.

The date was Saturday 15th June 2019 and the Venue was Hayne house, in Hythe.

Currently editing the main film, I would like to show you all a glimpse into the gorgeous wedding day of Lucy and Rich with my one minute teaser film (instafilm).

Hayne House is a family run venue, set in 35 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds. Offering exclusive use of their brand-new unique Orangery, former Hunting Pavilion of Edward VIII with it’s five bedrooms, and a quintessential English Cottage garden for your wedding ceremony and wedding reception.

This really was a beautiful venue to film and it definitely had that intimate countryside feel.

How did you get engaged, is there a cool story?

After 6.5 years Stephen proposed to me over a romantic meal in the Atlas mountains in Morocco.

Screenshot 2018-12-23 at 10.51.35.png

What was the inspiration/theme of your wedding?

I hate hot weather and love rustic wood and autumn colours. So chose a autumn wedding. The theme came from googling Autumn wedding and choosing the colours. Burnt orange. Olive green, Aubergine. Chocolate brown, mustard burgundy and red.

What is your Entrance music and first song and why?

My entrance music consisted of two songs, somewhere over the rainbow (for my grandad who passed away 5years ago). And Eva Cassidy songbird which i believed sang the words showing how much i love Stephen.

Screenshot 2018-12-23 at 10.53.38.png

What would be your number one tip to other couples planning their wedding?

Number 1 tip. Dont have too many bridesmaid's lol and choose who you have with you on the morning of day very carefully , its a stressful morning so you need people around you that will help, keep you calm and not cause you unwanted stress.
